Rat X Bait (1 lb)

I like the idea of no secondary poisoning of other animals. Rats or mice appear to be eating it at least there are less vermin in my chicken coop now. We will see in another couple of weeks if the problem has been taken care of.

Overall don't like to poison anything and have it suffer at all, but can't put out traps because of the cats the frequent the same area. Used a bait box because I feel better having it only accessible to the mice. Only recently put out the bait, lots of signs of mice in the area. Easy to dispense, packaging is resealable.

This product worked great for me. I also like that it's not harmful to my pets.

This is a tentative five star rating. We put the packets out on Sunday or Monday and today, Wednesday, we have our first "drunken" rat. We know we had a huge family between two walls in our horse barn and so we targeted that area. I'm pleased that we can address our rat problem and not worry about poisoning the barn cats and our five resident Australian Shepherds!

My rats were in the walls and ceilings of my apartment building, and the only almost contact I had with them was in the little cabinet above my stove. I put the bait there, but had no way to keep them from other food. They took it all, but they probably hid it around and didn't eat it all at once. Eventually they were gone, but I'm not sure if the bait killed them or they just left once the weather was nice.
