• Water system: Account for application uniformity, soil infiltration, drainage, and the frequency and amount of water available.
• Forage use: Match species to grazing animals, hay production, poultry forage, orchard use, or multi-purpose pasture.
• Seasonal growth: Compare cool- and warm-season activity, dormancy, persistence, and recovery after grazing or cutting.
• Stand design: Choose a prepared blend for complementary traits or individual species for more precise control.
