Choose Individual Species or Wildflower Seed Mixes

• Single-species seed: Useful when you want a specific flower, color, bloom period, or known plant density.
• Regional mixes: Combine species selected for broad adaptation within a defined area. Review the exact species list and site requirements.
• Special-use mixes: May be designed for shade, low-growing areas, erosion-prone sites, cutting gardens, or particular habitat goals.
• Annual and perennial blends: Annuals can provide first-season color, while perennials usually take longer to establish and may return in suitable conditions.

Plan a Site That Can Support Pollinators

Flowers with varied shapes and overlapping bloom periods can provide forage across more of the season. Regional suitability, pesticide use, water, and surrounding habitat also affect whether a planting can support pollinators. Choose species appropriate for your climate and check local guidance when native status or invasive potential matters.

Prepare and Sow the Seedbed

Control existing weeds before sowing and create the seed-to-soil contact specified for the mix. Follow the product directions for regional timing, seeding rate, depth, irrigation, and establishment mowing. Adding more seed than recommended does not replace site preparation.
